The tour cost includes bus transportation. Odaiba is one of the most popular shopping and entertainment districts in Tokyo. It originated as a set of small man-made islands, which were built towards the end of the Edo Period (1603-1868) to protect Tokyo against possible attacks from the sea and specifically in response to the gunboat diplomacy of Commodore Perry. A century later, these small islands were joined into a larger island and developed into one of Tokyo’s most popular tourist attractions with an impressive shopping complex consisting of malls, theme parks and museums. DECKS Tokyo Beach, next to Odaiba Beach features many entertainment centers including Tokyo Joypolis with the latest Virtual Reality games, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum and more. AQUA CiTY ODAIBA next to DECKS Tokyo beach is an entertainment mall featuring many restaurants, shops and amusement facilities. DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is a shopping mall with many stores with a wide selection of Japan-themed souvenirs with many authentic Japanese restaurants. It’s easily recognized by the world’s only full-sized Gundam statue (anime character) guarding the front entrance.
