It’s Sumo, the unique Japanese national pastime that is “the sport of Emperors,” combining ancient ceremony with the tremendous power of the sumo wrestlers themselves. In this traditional 15-day tournament, the wrestler with the most wins at the end becomes the winner. The Sumo Tournament is an exciting spectacle held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan, the foremost sumo-viewing site in all of Japan.
