ANCIENT JAPANESE VILLAGE & FUJI FLOWER-BIRD GARDEN PARK WITH FUJI WIND CAVE

ITINERARY:
Depart 7 a.m. Village 9:30–11 a.m. Lunch 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. (Asagiri Food Park/ Pay-as-you-go lunch) Park 1:10–3 p.m. Cave 3:15–4:15 p.m. Return 7 p.m. Tour cost includes bus transportation and entrance fees to the village, flower-bird park, and cave. This tour does not go to Mt Fuji’s 5th Station “Iyashinosato” Japanese Village is located on the site of a former farming village on the western shores of Lake Saiko. The village was reconstructed and reopened as an open-air museum and traditional craft village, offering visitors the opportunity to learn about the culture and try out and purchase various local handicrafts. The village now consists of more than twenty houses converted into shops, restaurants, museums, and galleries. Fuji Kachoen Garden Park invites you to explore over 30 varieties of feathered friends. Additionally, the park boasts an extensive selection of over 10,000 begonias, fuchsias, and hydrangeas on display, allowing visitors to enjoy blooming flowers year-round. One of the Fuji Caves open to the public is the Wind Cave, with a temperature hovering around freezing and ice formations formed throughout the year from water seeping through the cave’s ceiling.
