TEA EXPERIENCE AT SAYAMA GREEN TEA SCHOOL

ITINERARY:
Depart 1 p.m. Tea School 2–4:30 p.m. Return 5:30 p.m. Tour cost includes bus transportation and a tea experience program. Classes will be held in the tea factory warehouse. Tea is considered the most popular beverage in Japan and an important part of Japanese culture. Various types of tea are widely available and consumed throughout the day. Tea is grown throughout Japan and among the well-known areas for tea cultivation are Saitama, Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Uji. Each region has its own characteristics and flavors. During this trip, you’ll visit the The Sayama Green Tea School in Saitama and learn all there is to know about Japanese Green Tea. You’ll have a chance to tour a tea factory, learn the history of Sayama Tea, as well as brew and taste your own cup. Afterwards, you’ll receive a diploma!
