Participants are asked to bring an item to wrap. Please note that item size must not exceed the dimensions of the pre-cut wrapping paper provided. On select Fridays, discover the heartfelt tradition of Japanese gift wrapping, where every fold and knot expresses gratitude and respect. In this class, you will learn to craft beautiful presentations using washi paper, furoshiki (cloth wrapping), and mizuhiki, a delicate ceremonial cord made from mulberry bark. Each technique transforms your gift into a sincere expression of appreciation, turning the act of giving into a meaningful ritual.
