This tour offers a variety of places to explore in Tokyo and is perfect for a one-day getaway. You’ll visit Meiji Shrine, Tsukiji Market, and Asakusa Temple. Meiji Shrine is Japan’s most famous Shinto shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife. Visitors to the shrine can take part in typical Shinto activities, such as buying charms
and amulets or writing out wishes on ema (wooden plaques). After visiting Meiji Shrine, stroll around and experience the flavors of Japan at Tsukiji Market. Nicknamed “Tokyo’s Kitchen,” it is one of the largest marketplaces. The streets are lined with numerous retail shops, restaurants, and more. You may also find souvenirs unique to this area. The last stop on this tour is Asakusa, whose main attraction is Sensoji, a popular Buddhist temple built in the 7th century. The temple is approached via Nakamise, a shopping street that has provided visitors with a variety of traditional local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries.
