This tour offers a variety of iconic spots to explore in Tokyo, making it perfect for a one-day getaway. You’ll visit Meiji Shrine, Tsukiji
Market, and Asakusa Temple during this experience. Meiji Shrine As Japan’s most famous Shinto shrine, Meiji Shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife. Visitors can take part in traditional
Shinto activities such as purchasing charms and amulets or writing wishes on ema (wooden plaques).
Tsukiji Market
After visiting Meiji Shrine, explore the Tsukiji Market, often nicknamed “Tokyo’s Kitchen.” One of the largest marketplaces in Japan, Tsukiji’s streets are packed with retail shops, restaurants, and more, offering a true taste of Japan.
Asakusa
Asakusa serves as the heart of Tokyo’s Shitamachi (or “downtown”), where the nostalgic atmosphere of old Tokyo still lingers. The main attraction is Sensoji Temple, a renowned Buddhist temple established in the 7th century. The temple complex features Nakamise Avenue, a lively shopping street offering traditional snacks and souvenirs that have delighted visitors for centuries. Don’t miss the Thunder Gate (Kaminarimon), a striking vermilionlacquered
gate marking the entrance to Nakamise Avenue and providing a beautiful view of Sensoji’s Main Hall.
