The tour cost includes bus transportation and admission to the aquarium. Sunshine City is Tokyo’s first city within the city. The focal point of the complex is the 240-meter-tall Sunshine 60 skyscraper. The complex contains shops and restaurants, an aquarium, planetarium, museum, indoor theme parks, as well as the Sunshine Prince Hotel. Sunshine City’s shops and restaurants are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunshine Aquarium occupies the top three floors of Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City office and shopping complex. It has around 80 tanks with 37,000 fish representing 750 species. Exhibits include the Sunshine Lagoon (a tank that holds 240 tons of water), the Jellyfish Tunnel and the Sunshine Aqua Ring for views of sea lions, penguins and other animals from below. Rare specimens include giant manta rays, huge sunfish and deep-water spider crabs, as well as non-marine animals like anteaters, snails, iguanas, flamingos, and a lemur.
