seaport, Yokohama has long been noted for its sophisticated international atmosphere. Your first stop will be a visit and lunch at China Town. Enjoy authentic Chinese food as well as the atmosphere. Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, a major tourist spot in Yokohama, is a cultural and commercial facility that utilizes two historical buildings constructed more than a century ago. It was built as a government bonded warehouse during the Meiji and Taisho eras and, as Japan’s first modern port facility, played an important role in the nation’s development. Today, the brick buildings house a range of cafes, restaurants and shops, while all kinds of seasonal events and performances are held throughout the year.
